Electromagnetic Solutions for Defence and Civil Shipping

 The main goals of the Division are to provide defence and civil applications with consultancy services and products aimed at assessing the shipboard electromagnetic environment.

By responding to market requirements over the last two decades, IDS has experience and capabilities in covering all the frequency spectrum, from quasi static band up to microwaves, concerning the Topside EMC and antenna systems performance evaluation, radar and IR signatures reduction and control.

IDS electromagnetic simulation tools are currently applied by the Italian Navy for the ship EM configuration control during its operative life. Other references are: Indian, French, Turkish, , UK MoDs, US DoD.
